Yesterday at Pearl Harbor they had just closed the USS BOWFIN for the filming of LOST! Why not make it both educational and fun to watch them film scenes for LOST! There is a museum by the bowfin and then go over to USS ARIZONA to watch the movie and then go on the boat. It takes 75 minutes for the USS ARIZONA side. The movie is very sad but informative.
Due to the USS BOWFIN CLOSED, they are only charging 5 dollars kamaaina rate for the museum with headphones. And there are no bags and purses allowed and strollers. Either pay the 3 dollars for storage or you can leave it at home and or car. This is all due to 9/11 increased security measure.
The USS MISSOURI is closed until JANUARY 2010.
And seeing that the historical date is coming up on DECEMBER 7th and the year was 1941.
