Busy with work and car accident and medical advice

Aloha all,
Well, I have been MIA for about the whole year this year. It has been non stop. The year started out with a big job. The big hotel job ended about a month ago.
On tax day, April 15th, 2010, I got into a big car accident. Ever since that, my life has turned upside down. I just found out last week Saturday that my arm was broken and no one told me. I have nerve damage, muscle problems, shoulder, back problems, neck problems, arms are painful and headaches. This has been a very painful experience and an ongoing battle. Daily living has slowed down for me tremendously. I am unable to do a lot of things because of all the ongoing issues.
Anyway, MY POINT IS.......be your own advocate and get your medical records yourself and review them. No one will do it for you and no one will follow up on the information but you.
Most of you know me....I don't really get too personal on the blog. My purpose of the blog was to inform moms.
So, the same point will apply to your kids. Be your childs advocate.
Mom's Club recently asked the members in Hawaii Kai to help someone that is going through the issue with a child of special needs. My advice is to go to your childs doctor and then talk to the doctor about your concerns. They will refer you to specialists and see if you qualify for services and payments for preschool and or schooling if the child is older.
