You need to have a 25 dollar permit to have firecrackers this year for our 4th of July holiday. You might want to pick it up before Friday in case the Satellite City Hall might be closed on Friday due to furloughs and it is also considered a federal holiday.
You can also check http://www.khnl.com/ or any news website to see where you can watch a firework show for FREE for the holidays. Friday July 3rd, Aloha Tower has thier annual display at and there are too many to remember for the 4fh such as Ala Moana and other locations. Please check your local paper too.
An ongoing show is at the Hilton Hawaiian which has the Rockn Hawaiian Show with hula dancing and fire show at 7pm every Friday and then at 745pm they have their firework show. You can hang out at their bar and or kick back on the beach. But, go early because it gets really crowded and you need to hang onto your seats.
